Antonio Cafolla (saxophone)

Antonio Cafolla studied saxophone and clarinet with Tim Hanafin at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama where he now lectures in the department of orchestral studies. A versatile musician, he is equally at home with classical and the various popular music styles. He is in great demand as a freelance musician in Dublin and throughout Ireland and frequently features on music soundtracks for various dramas and documentaries on both RTE and T na G. Although his background lies in orchestral studies he is also interested in adapting music for unusual instrumental combinations such as this saxophone and organ duo established with Anne Leahy in 1999.
